Depending on the season, there will be different birds to watch. Below the alternatives on offer:

October to February - Through lands of the Cranes

In addition to Cranes (Grus grus) you can see steppe birds or aquatic birds, depending on the tour. You can chose half day tour or full day, but watching the Cranes will imply either a full day tour or a afternoon tour.

March to April - Courtships

It's time to search for Great bustards (Otis tarda) and Little bustards (Tetrax tetrax), as well a the full community of steppe birds including Lesser kestrel (Falco naumanni) and European roller (Coracias Garrulos). We recommend a full day to take advantage of what nature has to offer in this particularly beautiful season in the Alentejo.
